Below top: carpet had an area that the client had removed because of mold growth, the area they had removed they also disposed off, so we had a hole and no spare to repair with, we removed a 200mm strip from the central area of the carpet and joined the two parts together, this made a smaller rug but better than a large hole
Below bottom: Cat scratch damage, the client had no spare carpet to repair this area of damage with, we removed a strip of carpet that went into the airing cupboard the strip we had to work with was just wide enough to fill the damaged area but the carpet pile ran the opposite direction but not really noticable when repaired correctly.
The carpets below where repaired by removing the damaged fibres and retufting or reweaving in new fibres, once compleated most are an invisible mend.
